Who You Talk To

Wingscousin Remodeling does not have remodelers on staff. When you reach out, you are connected with an independent provider in our network. That provider is a separate local business.

The provider answers your questions, looks at the project and gives you a quote. Any contract is between you and that provider.

What Happens on the Call

Expect a simple, practical chat. The provider will likely ask:

• What room is it, and what do you want changed?
• Is this a tub-to-shower conversion, a walk-in shower, a full gut or a refresh?
• What is your rough budget and timeline?
• How old is the home, and have you seen moisture or leaks?

Have a few photos and rough measurements ready. They make the talk faster. Many providers then offer a home remodel consultation at your house.

What to Ask an Independent Provider

Good questions protect your budget. Try these:

• Is your quote written, and what does it include and leave out?
• What could raise the price once walls or floors are open?
• Who handles permits?
• How long will the work take, and how will you keep dust down?
• What is your payment schedule?
• Can you share proof of license and insurance?

Typical U.S. costs vary a lot by job size, materials and home age. A written quote is the only number that counts.

Compare Before You Choose

Talk to more than one provider if you can. Put the quotes side by side. Look at scope, materials, timelines and payment terms, not just the bottom line. A low number may leave out items that another quote includes.

You Are in Control

Calling does not commit you to anything. You can say no, ask for changes or walk away. Plan around life: tell the provider about school runs, work hours, pets and quiet times so the schedule fits your household.
